JRP Studio was created with one main focus...quality. We, as a photography service, were looking for a high end print service for our competition prints where quality, paper selection, presentation and clarity were vital. We have worked with some of the best printers, editors and print industry specialists in Australia to develop our style and service that offers high quality print processes to support professional photographers and artists.
This is our process FOR Photographers :
I. Export your Digital File for Transfer.
If you’re working in Lightroom or Photoshop, feel free to chat with us for our recommendations on exporting your image with the best resolution and file type for printing. Once ready, send your digital file to us. For larger files, we use and recommend using WeTransfer.
II. File Preparation for Printing.
Once your digital file has been downloaded here in the Studio, we carefully prepare it for print. This includes checking black points and highlights, then resizing and sharpening the image in Photoshop to create a Master File, ready for printing on your selected Museum Grade Archival Fine Art paper. Your Master File is now saved in your Personal Print Folder here in the studio, ready to print when ever you need a reprint.
III. Print.
Your image is custom printed in our studio using Canon printers with genuine Canon pigment inks, rated to last up to 200 years, on your selected Museum Grade Archival Fine Art paper.
Your print is touch-dry straight out of the printer; however, we allow it to rest so the blacks and colours can fully settle before final inspection. Once approved, your print is presented in acid-free packaging, ready for studio pick-up. Delivery options are also available upon request.
This is our process FOR ARTISTS :
I. Bring your Original Artwork to the Studio.
If you don't already have your Original Artwork saved as a digital file, bring your original Artwork into the studio where we will carefully photograph it under controlled lighting conditions. We prefer to photograph rather than scanning, so there is no physical contact with delicate originals.
II. File Creation and Test Print.
Once the original artwork has been shot, the files are stitched, colour corrected and resized in photoshop to create a Master File ready for test printing on your chosen Museum Grade Archival Fine-Art Paper. We then compare the test print with your original under the same lighting conditions and fine tune your file where needed. Your original Artwork is now ready for you take home again.
III. Print.
Your Master File is now saved in your Personal Print Folder here in the studio, ready to print when ever you need a reproduction. At this stage we also create a Web Compressed version, and email this to you to share across your Socials. Prints can be picked up from the Studio or we can safely Package and freight directly to your door!

This includes photography and fine art – for photographers, photo studios and professional print services. The newly developed LUCIA PRO 2 ink includes an advanced colour development process that retains colour in an image for much longer. As a result, printed images have an excellent lightfastness which are preserved for 200 years.
